Rogue Like
A downloadable game for Windows
This one doesn't have a title yet. I'm not the most creative when it comes to that.
Inspired by popular titles such as Hades and The Binding of Isaac, the game features randomly generated rooms with different enemy types, perils and upgrades that make the player stronger. There is no real end to the game, it's just about becoming as overpowered as possible, though if I had more time (and ideas), I would add some more interesting gameplay features to it.
As to how it works, the game first generates a grid of squares, then populates those squares with tiles, traps or enemies, the number of which always depends on the size of the room. Then the player can use three different attacks (sword, spear or throwing daggers) to battle the enemies. Said enemies are also different and act differently with some basic AI in place. The 'totem' for example would throw bombs towards the player, predicting their movement. To hold it all together, I made some very crude assets to visualize the gameplay, but my focus went into coding rather than drawing.
